St John’s Full Gospel Deliverance Church is happy to serve the community with our College Assistance Ministry or CAM, helping graduates stay grounded, providing support in areas of education, mental and physical support. Going to college can be stressing for many of our youth, sometimes just a helping hand can make all the difference. We are here to gladly assist those students in need and those who just feel they would be able to benefit from our program.
The purpose of the St. John’s College Assistance Ministry is to provide support, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, to all church members enrolled in an accredited college program. Our ultimate goal is to provide spiritual, educational, financial and emotional support through the following venues:
Communication – We stay in touch with students via e-mail, snail mail, or other forms of electronic communication providing correspondence of inspirational and biblical encouragement.
Education – We share information on available scholarships, financial assistance, resume writing, educational workshops, summer intern and full-time job opportunities.
Care Packages – We send care packages of non-perishable food/items twice a year to students out-of-state and in need.
Graduate Gifts – We present gifts to graduates yearly (June/July timeframe) from Apostle Wilson and the St. John’s Church family. Goal is $100.00 for Masters, $50.00 for Bachelors and $25.00 for Associates level degrees.
