At St. John's Full Gospel Deliverance Church, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. You may wish to join us early for our Sunday School class which begins at 9:00am or join us at 10:30am for our Sunday morning Worship service. You may also wish to fellowship with us for our informal Bible Study class which begins at 6:30pm every Wednesday.
Our church is located at 27 Brown St., in Bloomfield Connecticut and parking is located behind the church with handicap parking directly in front of the church. If you have mobility restrictions, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get His approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While many people in the church wear ties, dresses and other formal wear, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Jeans and shirt are as welcome as suits and dresses, and you'll see both.
When you walk in, find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors at the front of the church, and they'll show you where everything is. They will help you find whatever you need whether it is the classrooms, or the restrooms, the sanctuary or the fellowship hall, they are here to help. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are also able to provide helpful answers.
Be sure to come early on Sunday and enjoy breakfast to prepare your mind to receive the Word at Bible Study. Feel free to stay after church and introduce yourself to our members. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
